The Studio of Dance

Studio J Academy of Dance is a Cleveland-area studio at 23945 Mercantile Road, Suite M in Beachwood, Ohio, serving families in Cleveland, Beachwood, Shaker Heights and Pepper Pike. It teaches students from 18 months old upward, with a curriculum spanning graded ballet levels one to five, pre-pointe and pointe, jazz, jazz funk, lyrical and contemporary, hip hop, tap, musical theatre, combo classes blending ballet, jazz, tap, tumbling and creative movement, a HIIT/Groove cross-training class and adult Pilates with a certified instructor. The studio stresses professional faculty drawn from competitive and national performing backgrounds, brings in guest instructors, and maintains strict standards on technique and dress code. Its year-end program showcases students on stage, and the Studio J Dance Team offers a competitive track built around technique, teamwork, respect and responsibility. Summer mini camps and intensive classes run outside the September-start season, and the studio also hosts birthday parties.
