The Sarasota Cuban Ballet School Inc

The Sarasota Cuban Ballet is a 501(c)(3) organization at 4740 Cattlemen Road in Sarasota, Florida, made up of a ballet school and the Sarasota Cuban Ballet Studio Company. Its mission is to celebrate and sustain the cultural legacy of the Cuban ballet tradition through performance, education and community outreach, and it teaches the Cuban technique following the Cuban National Ballet School syllabus. Faculty are former professional dancers and trained educators, led by Artistic Director Ariel Serrano. Training runs through a Children's Program, Young Dancers Program, Pre-Professional Training, an Apprentice Program and adult ballet classes, with a summer intensive that draws visiting professional dancers to morning class. The Studio Company bridges school and stage, performing a subscription Auditorium Series that for 2026-27 includes Classical + Contemporary, Dracula, Romantic Night and La Primavera. Alumni have gone on to The Royal Ballet, Birmingham Royal Ballet, Hamburg Ballet, Miami City Ballet, Houston Ballet, Dance Theatre of Harlem, San Francisco Ballet and Boston Ballet.
