The Main Pointe School of Dance LLC

The Main Pointe School of Dance serves Willmar, Kandiyohi and the surrounding west-central Minnesota communities of Pennock, New London, Spicer, Belgrade, Lake Lillian, Atwater, Litchfield and Prinsburg. Classes are organized by age and school grade, beginning with preschool ballet for three- and four-year-olds, then ballet and tap for kindergarten and first grade, ballet, tap and jazz through the elementary grades, and a Junior High Kick class for grades four to six. Junior and senior high students take intermediate and advanced ballet, jazz, tap and modern/contemporary, with pointe and the advanced levels requiring prior approval, plus a competition modern/contemporary track. The season runs with registration opening in July, and the year ends with a spring recital of three shows at the Willmar Education & Arts Center, ticketed online and livestreamed on YouTube with a digital program. The studio has been nominated as Best Dance School in the West Central Tribune's Best of the Best readers' poll for several consecutive years, and administers registration through Jackrabbit.
