The Hermosa' School of Dance & Music

The School of Dance and Music teaches dance classes and music lessons from two Hermosa Beach studios, at 1151 Aviation Boulevard and 400 Pacific Coast Highway, serving families in the Hermosa, Redondo and Manhattan Beach area and celebrating 27 years. Dance begins with a parent-and-child ballet/tap/jazz class from one year six months, followed by graded ballet/tap/jazz combination classes through the preschool and early primary years and levelled ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap and pointe classes for children and teens. Private dance lessons of 30, 45 or 60 minutes are available, and music lessons are offered in piano, voice, guitar, bass, violin and drums from about four and a half years through adult. Students take part in in-studio performances in December and May and a theatre recital in June, plus extra performing opportunities including an in-studio Nutcracker, a Ballet Company production of Swan Lake, a Disneyland parade and jazz and hip hop teams.
