About this studio
The Dancer's EDGE is a full-service dance studio at 1550 Hawkeye Drive in Hiawatha, Iowa, serving the Cedar Rapids metro area since 2008. It describes itself as technique-oriented, offering ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop and other genres for students from toddlers through teens in what it calls a fun, positive environment. The studio teaches the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum in a purpose-built facility, and states that its aim is to provide exceptional technical training while instilling work ethic, kindness, creativity and confidence. Programs include a Tinies track for the youngest dancers, school-year classes running 2026-2027, master classes with visiting instructors, and three performance teams: Entourage, Company and ProCo.
