About this studio
The Dance Step of Greater Uxbridge opened in August 1991 and is located at 870 Quaker Highway, Uxbridge, Massachusetts, just off Route 146 Exit 1. It operates under the direction of Amy P. LeDuc, Kristin L. Tanasio and AnneMarie H. Almeida. Over more than three decades the studio has grown from an original offering of ballet, pointe, tap and jazz to also include lyrical, acro, musical theatre, hip hop and adult ballet and tap classes. The school describes its training as consistent, precise and compassionate, treating each student individually and using dance to build confidence and determination. Students may join a performance group, a competitive group, or both; the competition team, 'Pride and Joy', was formed in 1992. The annual end-of-year performance is open to all registered students. The season runs from early September to mid-June, with a separate summer intensive in July.
