Summit Dance Company

Summit Dance Co is a dance studio in Redmond, Washington, entering its eleventh season in 2026-27 under the banner Season ELE-VATE. Its stated mission is to provide a safe, enthusiastic environment where every student and family feels welcomed and encouraged to climb and conquer the summit within themselves, one dance step at a time. Classes are grouped as Tiny and Petite for ages 2-7, Elementary and Elementary+ for grades 1-5, Middle/High School and an advanced track for grades 6-12, plus an adult tap class for ages 18 and over. Styles taught include ballet, pre-pointe, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, musical theatre, acro, pom, turns and leaps, stretch and strength, and voice. A Triple Threat program stages junior musicals such as Oliver Jr., High School Musical Jr., Alice in Wonderland JR and Annie KIDS, and Performance Groups appear at events including the MTCA convention. The studio runs nine weeks of summer camps for ages 2-18 and an annual benefit show, Raising the Barre, now in its fifth year.
