Sherry Gold Dance Studios

The Gold School Dance Art has taught in Brockton, Massachusetts since 1964 and operates from 1154 North Montello Street. It runs school-year programs from September to June alongside summer sessions, and teaches ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary and modern to boys and girls. Classes are grouped by age and track: First Steps for 18 months to 6 years, Classics for ages 7 to 18, Hip Hop and More for ages 5 to 18, the Project Moves company for ages 7 to 18 entered by audition, and Competition teams for ages 5 to 18. The school emphasises teaching discipline, commitment, work ethic and integrity alongside technique, and welcomes all levels and abilities whether or not students intend a professional career. Facilities include closed-circuit television for parent observation, and the studio highlights family-friendly scheduling so siblings dance on the same day, multi-child tuition discounts, short recitals, and age-appropriate music and costumes. It also runs the No Boundaries summer camp.
