KC Ballet Announces Roster Changes And New Second Company Manager
Kansas City Ballet Artistic Director Devon Carney today announced the promotion of one member and appointment of five new dancers to the Company and 14 new Second Company dancers.

About this studio
Santa Clarita Ballet comprises an academy and a performing company, with the Santa Clarita Ballet Company registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Teaching follows the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus, with each graded level building a progressive ballet and character vocabulary aimed at precision, technical proficiency and artistry. Students can start at age three through the Tiny Tot Ballet program, and the academy also offers modern, jazz and Pilates classes alongside summer workshops. Older students perform in full-length productions at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center at College of the Canyons; the 2026/2027 season includes a 32nd annual Nutcracker in December and Coppelia in June, with past repertoire including Peter Pan and Swan Lake. The company runs community outreach and publishes alumni stories, some of whom have gone on to professional careers.
