About this studio
Sally McDermott Dance Centers, at 421 Washington Street (Route 20) in Auburn, Massachusetts, is celebrating over fifty years of teaching, having been founded by Sally Heaney and now directed by Kathryn Morrill. The school states that dancers of every age and level, beginner through advanced, deserve the very best instruction, and that the kindness and respect shown to students inspires them to strive for their personal best. Programs are structured by age: 123 Dance With Me for 18 months to 6 years and Twinkle Star for 2.5 to 5.5 years, then the Showstar track running from Mini Showstar at 5.5 to 7 years through Showstar, Super Showstar and Elite Showstar for ages 12 and up. Acrobatic Arts classes are offered from age 4, and the competitive Dance Company takes dancers from age 6.
