About this studio
The Ridgefield School of Dance, at 66 Grove Street in Ridgefield, Connecticut, is celebrating over 25 years of teaching and is staffed by current and former professional dancers. It offers pre-professional and recreational training, with a Classical Ballet program based on Balanchine-style technique for children aged 3 through 18, running from pre-ballet to a pre-professional division. The Jazz department covers contemporary jazz styles and includes contemporary, lyrical, tap and theatre dance. Adult classes welcome beginners and returning dancers, and summer programs serve all ages. Each year the school presents The Nutcracker in November and a year-end spring performance featuring a full-length classical ballet.
