About this studio
Rhythm and Shoes is a dance studio serving the South Saint Paul area of Minnesota, founded by Jodi Seiger, who describes opening the studio as a realised dream supported by family and friends. Its site marks ten years of sharing dance with the community. The studio teaches children from preschool age upward: preschool and Music & Movement classes feed into graded work in tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, pointe, modern and hip hop, taught by a staff of instructors who mostly trained in those same styles from early childhood. Students perform in a multi-show annual recital staged at Eagan High School, with dress rehearsal, photographs and a recital video.
