About this studio
Premiere Dance Company is a dance studio at 404 S Scott Road in southwest Fort Wayne, Indiana, marking 29 years of dance instruction. The studio says it aims to inspire and nurture a love of dance in students of all ages in an inclusive and safe environment, with instructors creating a supportive atmosphere in which dancers can express themselves creatively. Classes are structured by age, starting with creative movement for ages 2 to 3, ballet for ages 3 to 4, ballet/tap for ages 4 to 5 and combination classes for ages 5 to 7, 7 to 10 and 8 to 12. Alongside its recreational program in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical and pointe, it fields a competitive dance team that competes at state and national level. The studio also offers private lessons, studio rentals, and general and diversity scholarships for dancers in need.
