About this studio
Fort Wayne Dance Collective is a non-profit movement arts organization at 437 E. Berry Street in downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana, whose mission is to inspire and empower individuals of all identities, abilities and stages of life through movement arts. On site it runs dance, drumming and wellness classes for all ages and skill levels, and operates Fort Wayne Taiko. A large outreach arm covers Dance for Health, including Dance for Parkinson's; Dance for Diverse Abilities, running over 20 years; school partnerships; and community classes for underserved groups. Classes run in seasonal sessions with drop-in and package pricing, and funding comes from Arts United, the Indiana Arts Commission and the NEA.
