About this studio
Plano Metropolitan Ballet (PMB) is a non-profit ballet organization in Plano, Texas, whose stated aim is bringing the transformative power of ballet to all. It has been voted Best Way to Get Artsy in Plano by Plano Magazine readers in 2016 through 2019 and again in 2023 and 2024. The organization comprises four programs: the main PMB company for ages 12 to 18, a Junior Company for ages 8 to 12, PALS for people with disabilities, and Generations for adults. Each season centers on a full-length fairy tale ballet staged at Plano's Courtyard Theater, recently Rapunzel. Dancers also appear in community events such as the Celebrate the Arts showcase, and the organization runs outreach programs supported by sponsors and volunteers.
