About this studio
Ohana Dance is a studio at 2772 Artesia Blvd #107 in Redondo Beach, in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, teaching children from age 3 through teens as well as adults. It emphasises training with working professionals - hip hop and breaking taught by competitive b-boys, ballet by a former principal of the Royal Swedish Ballet, and hula by an award-winning hula dancer - and states values of courage, honesty, thoughtfulness and inclusivity. Three tracks are offered: a ballet conservatory, a competition team and a recreational program. Classes are grouped as Pre-School (3-6), Minis (6-9), Juniors (10-12) and Teens & Seniors (13-19), adding acro, jazz, modern, contemporary, pointe and tap as students progress. Intensives, summer camps and trial classes are available.
