North Shore Dance Academy

North Shore Dance Academy is based at 27 Garden Street, Unit 2 in Danvers, Massachusetts, directed by Tammy Bolduc, with the motto 'where technique is learned and friends are made'. Its recreational classical dance program runs from age 3 to 18 in tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, musical theatre and acro, alongside an intensive track. Creative Movement for ages 2 to 3 is a caregiver-and-me class, and a new combination tap and ballet class caters to complete beginners aged 5 to 7. Other offerings include Flip Hop, a fusion of hip hop and acro; Broadway Bound musical theatre; an acro program following the Acrobatic Arts curriculum; and the Dancer Within Program for dancers of all abilities. The adult program began as a night out for dance mothers and now offers tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop and fitness classes with a performance opportunity. The school runs a September to June year with a recital, summer classes, birthday parties, and a Goodwill Ambassador performance troop for ages 5 to 18 that performs monthly in the community. All six classrooms have television observation for parents.
