The North Dakota Ballet Company's Youth Ballet Company will present Cinderella— a magical retelling of the classic fairy tale.

Founded in 1962, the North Dakota Ballet Company & Academy is the official ballet company of the state of North Dakota and a non-profit organization based on South Washington Street in Grand Forks. It began as a professional performance company and has since become a school and artistic programming outlet for the Grand Forks community, promoting classical ballet and other dance styles. Classes run from age 18 months through adult. The Children's Dance Program covers ages 3 to 10 with Pre-Technique I, Pre-Technique II combining beginner ballet and tap, and Technique I and II adding introductory jazz. Academy-level classes for ages 10 and up are graded across four levels by years of experience and cover ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, modern, pre-pointe, pointe by instructor approval, and Progressing Ballet Technique. Dancers take a weekly technique class and perform in an end-of-year recital. Adult classes and summer classes are also offered, with registration through Jackrabbit.
