Northern Plains Ballet

Northern Plains Dance is a nonprofit dance company and academy at 1416 East Front Ave in Bismarck, North Dakota, whose stated aim is to bring the art of dance to everybody. Its school-year program is organized into five divisions - Preschool, Children's, Youth, Advanced (entered by teacher recommendation) and Adult - plus adaptive dance classes, so that beginners and advancing dancers are placed by age and stage; fall 2026 classes began on 24 August. Summer brings classes, camps and a summer dance intensive. The organization also presents a full performance season, including The Nutcracker, the contemporary Dance+ program and spring productions such as Peter Pan, with sensory-friendly performances and school matinees.
