About this studio
MZ Dance Company is a Clearwater, Florida studio at 1969 Sunset Point Rd that combines dance training with circus arts. Led by Miranda, it teaches classical ballet, modern, lyrical, tap, jazz, musical theatre and hip hop, plus creative movement for younger dancers, and a circus program covering aerial silks, hammock, lyra and trapeze along with Cyr wheel, hula hoop and acrobatics. The studio is explicitly non-competitive, stating that growth, artistry and character matter more than competition, and it welcomes complete beginners as well as advanced dancers. There is no upper age limit: adult ballet, adult aerial and teen/adult Cyr wheel classes run alongside children's classes.
