About this studio
MoDancing is the teaching practice of Maureen "Mo" Hickey, based in the Rochester, New York area. She brings over 30 years of experience across dance and a range of sports and recreational activities, and holds a Master of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Education, which she applies to designing instructional programs for beginners through advanced dancers. The focus is ballroom and social partner dancing, offered as lessons and classes for all ages, alongside wedding first-dance instruction and social dance events. Classes cost around $10 per person per session and typically run in six- to eight-week blocks, with registration handled through the Perinton Recreation Department, so students commit to a full session.
