About this studio
TNT Dance Explosion is a Rochester, New York studio whose stated aim is to give students a strong foundation in dance while coaching and challenging them in the classroom and beyond. It runs two tracks: an Educational program and a competitive Company. The Educational program is age-graded, starting with Toddlers at ages 2-3 who work on basic ballet and creative movement, moving through Tots classes for ages 3-5 adding tap, Juniors for grades K-3 introducing jazz, and Preps and Pre-Teen classes for grades 4-8 with dedicated ballet technique time. Standalone classes include hip hop (Kinder-Hop for grades K/1 and an 8-12 group), musical theatre for ages 8-12, and Mini and Junior Acro for ages 4-12. Other listed styles are lyrical, contemporary, stretch and strength, and technique. Every educational class performs at least one choreographed number in the year-end recital, and tuition is quoted annually or monthly.
