About this studio
Miami Dance Project is a non-profit dance school in Miami, Florida, founded in 1999 by Barbara Delgado Acosta and built on the values of discipline, integrity and loyalty. Acosta, who trained in ballet and jazz, started the school because she saw too few places where children with disabilities could experience the joy of movement, and inclusivity remains central: the school describes itself as a home for dancers of all ages and abilities, from first-time beginners to committed teenagers. Classes are offered in acro, ballet, contemporary, hip hop and jazz, along with a kinder dance program for the youngest students.
