Melbourne Ballroom School of Dance

Melbourne Ballroom is a privately owned social dance studio at 2545 W. New Haven Ave in West Melbourne, Florida, run by owner-instructors Barry and Kristan Johnson. It teaches virtually every social partner dance, covering ballroom, Latin and swing for people of all ages and levels, from basic social dancing for an upcoming event through salsa club work to competitive ballroom training. Services include private lessons, group classes, an introductory program, guest nights, wedding dance instruction and packages, dance parties and events, professional ballroom shows and dance cruises, plus separate ballet and belly dance classes and a children's and teens program. The studio offers discounted blocks of lessons, does not require contracts, and publishes a solicitation statement committing to no high-pressure sales tactics and to a relaxed, patient teaching environment. A Friday Night Party runs regularly.
