About this studio
Heavey Quinn Irish Dance has taught in the Greater Boston, Merrimack Valley and Metrowest areas since 1985 and is devoted exclusively to Irish dance, teaching traditional forms including the reel, jig, hornpipe and ceili while immersing students in the culture and history behind them. Classes run at two locations, 11 Progress Avenue in Chelmsford and Metrowest Dance Academy at 92 Blandin Avenue in Framingham. The program starts with Jump'n Jig, a preschool class for ages two and a half to five, then Irish step and ceili classes from age six, a championship track at preliminary and open level for dancers competing at feiseanna, and an adult program covering ceili, step, ballet and tap.
