About this studio
Mansfield Academy of Dance (MAD) serves the Storrs/Mansfield area of Connecticut from two locations, MAD South in Willimantic and MAD North in Willington. The studio teaches all ages from babies and toddlers through adults, structuring its offering as a series of programs: caregiver-and-child Move With Me and Intro to Dance for the youngest, Fun 2 Dance tap/ballet and Flip Hop for pre-K and kindergarten, a two-day Junior Foundations track, a Fundamentals of Technique program covering ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, hip hop and acro, adult dance and fitness classes, and a Performance Program for dedicated dancers. Leadership training, goal setting and team-building are integrated into the curriculum, and new students can try two classes for $20.
