Haven Dance Academy is a dance studio in the heart of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, at 2415 S. Sherman Avenue near Cliff Avenue and 33rd Street. It offers classical ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop and mat Pilates for ages 3 through adult, with classical ballet treated as the foundation of the program; dancers aged 12 and over taking two ballet classes a week are eligible for pointe. Progressing Ballet Technique is woven through ballet classes and offered privately, and monthly specialty classes cover hip hop, Broadway, modern, Zumba and floorwork. Adult classes include gentle ballet and an Intro to Dance covering several styles. The academy is faith-based, running Worship and Improv classes, and its parent body Haven Arts Collective also hosts mentoring, worship gatherings, piano lessons and a music production studio. Classes are kept small with assistants for extra attention.
Today the Royal Opera House has announced more details of its schedule of in-person and streamed Spring and Summer performances, with public booking opening on 7 May 2021 and the doors opening to socially-distanced, in-person audiences from 17 May 2021.
