Dance classes in Sioux Falls, South Dakota
BritZa Performing Arts Studio at 1500 E 77th St. in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has been in business roughly 40 years and runs about 63 classes a week in dance, acting and singing. Dance is the core: graded recital classes by school year in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, musical theatre, hip hop and pointe, plus ballet/tap and ballet/jazz combo classes for ages 3-5 and kindergarten through 2nd grade. Ballet is a prerequisite for jazz and contemporary, and students must complete pre-pointe before pointe. The DiscoverDance early childhood program covers Discover With Me (walking to age 2, with a caregiver), Discover Tots (2-3), Discover Dance (3-4) and Discover Hip Hop (4-6). Non-recital technique classes include Tippy Toes Ballet and Acro from 5th grade up, and adult intermediate/advanced tap is offered. Students perform in a December Christmas Show and a spring recital, and the studio also offers private lessons, summer camps, micro shows and birthday parties.
Winners have been announced for the 2020 BroadwayWorld Sioux Falls Awards - which were back bigger than ever, celebrating the best in local theatre of the past decade!
