Lubbock Ballet Inc

Ballet Lubbock is a registered 501(c)(3) organization at 1300 Mac Davis Lane, Suite 1, Lubbock, Texas, combining a professional company with a ballet school and extensive community programming. Its performance season is staged at the Buddy Holly Hall and includes The Nutcracker, Snow White and an Open Barre showing, plus a school performance. School instruction is tailored by age and level: Introductory Dance for ages 18 months to 15 years spans Family Dance, a Preparatory Program, and Elementary and Teen Ballet; Leveled Instruction covers Levels 1-8 and Company for dancers aged 7 and up who have completed the introductory classes; jazz is available from age 9 as a supplement or stand-alone study; and adult classes for 16 and over welcome true beginners with no experience required. A two-year Trainee Program serves advanced dancers aged 18-22 pursuing careers in ballet and arts education. Dance Abilities offers adaptive dance for all ages, and outreach work runs in schools and hospitals through DanceConnect. Summer programming and scholarships are also available.
