About this studio
Los Gatos Ballet is a ballet school and non-profit foundation at 630 University Avenue in Los Gatos, California, describing its work as enriching lives through dance and as a practice of self-mastery, intentional training and character development. Its Youth Program runs from age 4 through pre-professional level and is organized into Preparatory, Primary, Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced divisions, supported by a dancer wellness program, pre-season prep and a summer program. A separate Drop In Program offers all levels of training to teens aged 13 and over and to adults, whether beginners or returning dancers, with workshops and performance opportunities. The foundation side of the organization runs school outreach, a Ballet Alliance and community events. The company performs The Nutcracker each November plus a spring production and a school showcase, and the site also houses Los Gatos Pilates.
