Leroux School of Dance

LeRoux School of Dance has taught in the Royersford area of Pennsylvania since 1945 and now operates from 70 Buckwalter Road. It enrols students from 18 months to 99 years, running parent-child classes, early-years programs such as Twinkle Babies, Twinkle Stars and Petite Feet, school-age and teen classes, adult fitness sessions, and the Steppers competitive dance team for dancers aged 7 to 18. Classes are mostly combination format covering two or more styles, taught to a codified curriculum so lessons are consistent whichever teacher leads them, with a Star Track option for dancers wanting more than one class a week. The studio has raised sprung floors, mirrors and barres, and a reception area with viewing windows. Performances include a December holiday showcase and Nutcracker, a May team benefit showcase, a June recital and community appearances at libraries and assisted living facilities. A free trial class is offered.
