Dance Vision is a dance studio at 8711 Thomas Avenue in Johnston, Iowa, founded in 2003 to provide professional dance training for students of all ages and abilities across the Des Moines metro area. The program covers ages 2 to 18 in ballet, jazz, tap and hip hop, alongside tumbling and aerial arts, with a separate slate of adult classes. Competition teams and the Dance Vision Dream Team run for more advanced students, and the studio brings in guest artists for master classes and intensives during the year, saying this exposes dancers to techniques they would otherwise have to travel to New York or Los Angeles to see. Summer offerings include drop-in classes from early July to mid-August, a ballet intensive and an in-house event; fall classes begin at the end of August following a Family Fun Day open house.
