Koltun Ballet Boston is a classical ballet academy in Watertown, Massachusetts, directed by Alexandra Koltun and Alex Lapshin. It runs a Children's Ballet Program for ages 3-9 that emphasises creativity, cooperation and social interaction in a structured setting, and a selective Pre-Professional Ballet Training program for ages 10-19 aimed at students pursuing professional careers. Instruction draws on Russian and American traditions, including the American Ballet Theatre certified national curriculum, with faculty who include former principals of the Bolshoi, Mariinsky and Boston Ballet. Alongside ballet the school teaches modern, contemporary, hip-hop and jazz, and offers private coaching, a summer intensive, performance opportunities and need-based scholarships.
