About this studio
Studio 1, Jean Taylor's dance school, was established in Farmington, Utah in 1976 and has been owned and operated by Jean Taylor for over 40 years; the site marks 50 years of dance. Based at 46 North 100 East, the studio offers both recreational and competitive dance for all ages. Styles taught include ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, hip hop and tumbling, with a Jazz/Tap Combo class and a Boys Crew group. Programs are split between Recreation Teams and Competition Teams, the latter divided into a PeeWees and Teenies division and a division running from third grade through high school; places on the competition teams are filled through auditions held annually. The studio also runs a summer session with additional classes.
