About this studio
Ballroom Utah is a social and competitive ballroom school at 3030 S. Main Street in South Salt Lake, teaching both International and American ballroom and Latin styles. It describes itself as the only local facility with a spring-floating dance floor, and says it caters to dancers "9, 90, or anywhere in between," from complete beginners to returning professionals. The published list of dances covers the smooth and standard ballroom styles of waltz, tango, Viennese waltz, foxtrot, quickstep and Peabody; the Latin styles of cha-cha, samba, rumba, paso doble, jive, swing, bolero and mambo; country western Arizona and Texas two-step, East and West Coast swing and polka; social bachata, salsa, West Coast swing and Lindy; and hustle and nightclub two-step.
