Now operating as Serena Webb Dance Theater and its affiliated school Webb Dance Academy, this Utah organization is based at 4700 South 900 East in Murray, in the Ivy Place Shopping Center. Serena Webb Dance Theater is a professional company that tells stories through modern and ballet dance with a theatrical emphasis, and states a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion among dancers, staff and leadership. Webb Dance Academy is a small boutique school offering creative movement for ages 3 to 5, ballet, jazz and hip hop for ages 6 to 17, and contemporary and pointe for ages 10 to 17, with small class sizes and personalised instruction. All students perform in winter and spring productions, and dancers aged 8 and over may audition for the company's annual production of The Nutcracker and the Mouse Queen. Emerging Artists and Performing Artists companies offer extra performance opportunities, and a free trial class is available.
