About this studio
DF Dance Studio has been a home for adult social dance in the Salt Lake City area since 2008, operating from 2978 S State Street, Suite B, in South Salt Lake. It teaches adults only, with beginner-friendly and progressive group classes in salsa, bachata, West Coast swing, country swing and ballroom, plus ballet, reggaeton and flamenco, running more than 35 classes a week. No partner is required for group classes and most new students start with an intro class or a Zero to Salsa, Bachata, Country or West Coast Swing bootcamp before moving into Level 1. Private lessons cover wedding first dances, date nights, private parties and one-to-one ballroom coaching. Friday nights alternate between a Latin social with separate salsa, bachata and cumbia rooms and the WestieHive West Coast Swing social, each preceded by a beginner class. The studio also fields salsa, bachata, ballroom and flamenco performance teams.
