About this studio
Inspirations Academy in Savannah, Missouri was founded in 2007 by Mary Ingersoll with the stated mission of sharing technique and appreciation and inspiring students to love dance and the arts for a lifetime, serving families across Northwest Missouri. The academy combines studio programming in dance, acro, cheer, piano, art and theatre with after-school care and a summer academy. Classes begin with TuTwo Twirl for dancers aged two and up, where parents take part at first, then progress through creative movement, ballet and tap basics, a boys-only tumbling class, jazz and cheer, up to intermediate, advanced and competition-team placement. Tumbling follows the Acrobatic Arts curriculum and two annual shows are staged in a professional theatre.
