About this studio
Hamby Ballroom Dance Studios is located at 25 Harvard Street in Waltham, Massachusetts, just outside Boston, and teaches ballroom and Latin dance to adults. The studio offers group classes for beginner through advanced dancers, private lessons, social dance parties and wedding first-dance lessons, covering foxtrot, waltz, swing, salsa, tango and rumba among other rhythms. Suzanne Hamby has taught in the Boston area since 1984 and has competed as a North American and United States champion as well as being voted best female dance teacher in the United States; she teaches alongside a staff that includes Dick Gould. Beginner classes introduce the basic steps of the most popular social dances so students can feel comfortable on the floor at social occasions. Gift certificates are available and group class schedules are published online.
