Grove Stovall's

Stovall's Grove is a historic honky tonk and country music hall at 18720 Stovall Lane in Wildwood, Missouri, in west St. Louis County, billing itself as the home of country western music since 1935. It is a live-music venue rather than a conventional dance school: doors open Wednesday through Saturday, with national and local live music shows on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings covering classic country and western, rockabilly, country rock and contemporary country. Dance lessons run on Wednesday and Thursday nights from 7:00 pm at $3 per person, catering to beginner through advanced dancers with or without a partner. The syllabus covers classic country western line dances including the Boot Scoot Boogie, Tush Push, Electric Slide, Black Velvet and Slap Leather, alongside country western couples dances such as the Stationary Cha Cha, San Antonio Stroll, Ridin' Double and L.A. Two Step. The venue also hosts seasonal Sunday barbecues and rents its hall for private parties and weddings.
