About this studio
The Fremont Ballet School was founded in 1964 and has operated in Fremont, Ohio for more than six decades, describing itself as one of northwest Ohio's premiere dance studios. Ballet is the core of its training, and the school also offers acro, tap including an adult tap course for beginners and returning dancers, and occasional yoga classes with guest teachers. Students perform in a full-length spring ballet, most recently Coppelia at Old Fort High School, and an annual Christmas show, while a performance company appears at community events such as the Fremont Amphitheater and the Lindsey Sunflower Festival. Summer programming includes a themed ballet camp for ages 3 to 9, an acro camp for ages 4 and up, and multi-day summer intensives led by visiting professional dancers that are open to students from other studios. Registration is handled through an online studio portal.
