About this studio
Flipside is a 5,000 square foot gym in Festus, Missouri, serving the Crystal City and Jefferson County area with instruction in cheerleading, tumbling, dance, acro, ninja tricking and gymnastics at both recreational and competitive levels. Its recreational dance program covers ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop and pom, and is aimed at teaching proper technique while keeping classes enjoyable; all levels are welcome. A separate Pom and Tumble track and an acro program also feed into the annual recital. The gym additionally runs a parent-tot class, an after-school club, private lessons, birthday parties, open gym and playtimes, camps and clinics, field trips and choreography clinics for school teams. Fall classes begin September 8, 2026, with the recital scheduled for May 23, 2027 and a gymnastics spring show on 22 May.
