About this studio
The Minnesota Ballet, based at 506 W Michigan Street in Duluth, is celebrating 60 years of dance in the city and works as both a professional company and a school. Its stated mission is to inspire an appreciation of dance through performance and education, and it explicitly advances diversity, inclusion and equity under the motto that dance is for all. The company presents new versions of classic works, faithful stagings of masterpieces by legendary choreographers and newly commissioned pieces in a range of dance styles; the 2026-27 season includes The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, The Nutcracker: A Duluth Tale with the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra playing live, Coppelia and The Mighty Casey, plus the long-running Celebrity Dance Challenge fundraiser.
