About this studio
Desert Edge Dance Company is entering its thirteenth year of operation in St. George, Utah, at The Center at Dinosaur Crossing, 446 S. Mall Drive B4. It runs a performing arts preschool program and classes for students aged two through adult at beginning to advanced levels. Styles include ballet, cheer, contemporary, hip-hop, jazz, lyrical, modern, musical dance theatre, pointe, tap and tumbling. The schedule serves both recreational and pre-professional students, with competition, performing and non-performing tracks, and emphasises technique, strength, coordination, flexibility, musicality and discipline. The facility has two studios with sprung marley floors, ballet barres, mirrors, sound systems and a student waiting room.
