Dancescape By Joyce

Dancescape by Joyce is a ballet-based school for the art of dance at 2014 East Broadway in Pearland, Texas. Joyce Beck founded it there in 1993, having run Joyce's Academy of Dance in Friendswood from 1984 to 1993, giving the school more than 40 years in the greater Pearland area. Group instruction covers ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, hip hop, contemporary and musical theater dance, with a two-level Acro for Dancers class on Saturdays. The curriculum is tiered as Dance Education for Young Children (ballet and tap for ages 3-4 and 5-7), Dance Development for intermediate students, Dance Studies for advanced students, and a Dance for Fun track of hip hop and musical theater. The faculty are certified by Dance Masters of America and belong to Texas Dance Masters Inc. Chapter #48, and students have held numerous state and national Dance Masters titles. Parents may watch through lobby observation windows.
