Dance Unlimited Wellington, Co.

Palm Beach Academy of Dance Arts is a children's dance studio at 10101 Lantana Road in Lake Worth, serving western Palm Beach County. It teaches technique-based classes for ages 2 to 18, structured by age and ability from preschool combo classes and creative movement through seven graded levels, with pointe introduced from about age 12. The syllabus covers ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, modern, lyrical, acro/tumbling, hip hop, commercial dance, Progressing Ballet Technique, leaps and turns and Pilates. Two competition teams, PBCo and the local-only PBCo2, travel to competitions and conventions in Florida and occasionally out of state, while the Academy Performance Dancers appear at community events and in an annual full-length Nutcracker. A spring showcase is staged each May, and summer night classes, workshops, intensives and camps run over the break. No-commitment trials cost $25, or $50 for a week of unlimited classes, and Legacy and Leadership scholarships are available to students taking eight or more hours weekly.
