About this studio
Dance Theatre's Heron Bay studio at 5952 Coral Ridge Drive in Coral Springs is one of four Florida locations run under the Dance Theatre banner, alongside Parkland, Wellington and a newly opened St. Augustine campus. The school describes its approach as excellence in dance education and teaches all ages and skill levels across ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, acro, musical theatre and pom, together with technique and flexibility classes and dedicated rehearsal time. It also offers less common circus disciplines: All Apparatus, Fabrics (silks and hammock) and Metals (lyra and dance trapeze). Combination classes such as Ballet/Tap and Ballet/Tap/Jazz cater to younger dancers, and performance companies and competitive teams are available. The season ends with a recital weekend in May, and make-up classes are offered for sessions missed through holidays or illness.
