Dance Quest

Napa Regional Dance Company, Inc. (NRDC) was founded in 1988 in Napa, California with a mission to provide dance training and education while promoting dance as an art form. Its instructors have professional performing backgrounds with companies including American Ballet Theatre, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Oakland Ballet, Ballet West and the Joffrey Ballet. NRDC runs a year-round curriculum for boys and girls in classical ballet, contemporary and jazz, together with choreography classes, and serves both children and adults in the Napa Valley. Students have three performance opportunities a year: the annual holiday production of The Nutcracker presented to the Napa Valley community, and a year-end spring Student Showcase of classical and contemporary repertoire held at the Napa Valley College Performing Arts Center. NRDC also provides educational outreach to local schools through lecture demonstrations, and its affiliated Napa Regional Dance Foundation sponsors an Arts and Education Project.
