About this studio
Dance Express of Tolland has taught children to dance from 68 Hartford Turnpike in Tolland, Connecticut since 1988, when owner and director Beth Horr opened the studio after six years as associate director at Stepin' Up Dance Studio in Somers. Its stated philosophy is to teach the artistry of dance while developing discipline and a lifelong interest in the performing arts. The teaching staff has more than 75 years of combined experience and many hold college degrees in arts or education; several instructors are former Dance Express students who went on to professional companies and university dance programs.
