About this studio
Dance Depot is a family-owned studio at 2225 Larkspur Lane in Redding, California, which has served the North State since 1957 and is celebrating its 69th year. It runs more than 55 classes a week on a September-June season, placing students by a graded curriculum in which age is only a guideline and dancers typically spend two years at each level. Programs begin with Mommy or Daddy & Me for ages 1-3 and Creative Movement for ages 2.5-4, then Children's classes (4.5-7), Star Bright (6-9), Juniors (9-12) and levelled teen and adult classes. Students perform in December and June productions, and the Dance Depot Elite dance teams compete. The studio also holds summer dance camps each July and intermediate and advanced intensives in August.
